Mike’s career includes executive leadership in an integrated health system overseeing public policy and strategy, and extensive consulting experience in strategic and business planning and program development.
His executive leadership role included several phases of organizational transformation. In his position at a county medical center, he was instrumental in the strategic imperative and subsequent transition from a county department to public-private governance while diversifying, integrating, and expanding the organizations presence in a very competitive market. Mike also provided leadership that secured enabling legislation for the organization’s nationally recognized health plan. Mike’s consulting expertise has addressed many challenging issues, and his experience in operational leadership has honed his skills in crafting pathways that are visionary, targeted, and implemented.
