Welcome to a new season of Monday Morning Minute. Each week, we’ll share a brief thought, a practical challenge, and an opportunity to reflect on how we can all become stronger leaders. It is our hope that these moments encourage you, inspire positive change, and help you make an even greater impact through your work in physician relations.
Monday Morning Minute: Be Present
It is easy to walk into a visit thinking about the next three stops on your schedule. But the person in front of you deserves your attention. Put down the phone, slow down, and be fully engaged in the conversation. People notice when you are truly present, and it changes the quality of the relationship.
This Week’s Challenge: In your next three visits, focus entirely on the person in front of you. Listen, ask questions, and resist the urge to think about what comes next.
As always please feel free to reach out (info@barlowmccarthy.com) with any questions or if you just want more detail on the short post above. We would love to discuss it further! Have a great week!
