My guest for this podcast is Sarah Wilcox, MBA. Sarah is a Mentor, Consultant and Coach for Women Included Now (https://womenincludednow.com/). Sarah’s career has spanned the C-suite as an executive to launching new businesses and being an entrepreneur. She now focuses on helping women navigate their careers while integrating their professional and personal lives.  She started in journalism and then received her MBA at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. She also completed course work for an MFA in Latin American Literature and Creative Writing.

Our discussion focuses on the particular challenges of women in the workplace including imposter syndrome, career management, understanding leadership approaches of men versus women and integration of the professional with the personal. The conversation also draws upon Sarah’s recent book titled “Is This Really My Life” which she wrote during the pandemic feeling that we needed to look at more of the irony of life’s events and bring more humor back into our lives.
