Monday Morning Minute:
Have you been asked to earn referrals in a clinical area that you lack confidence in? You get choice. 1. Dig in and research so you are able to find sales readiness, even if it is a niche offering. 2. Talk to the internal stakeholders about operational readiness (sometimes with intelligence on referring physician expectations) and offer an option if the area is not ready. This is the tough stuff but most of us are not able to grow what we don’t trust, so we need to own the homework.
